About the Artist
Abdullah Özgün is a Turkish fine art photographer based in Türkiye.
His work is rooted in observation, patience, and chance rather than carefully constructed scenes. He is drawn to photographs that emerge naturally through light, timing, and perspective, often revealing a subtle sense of surrealism within everyday reality.
His work has been recognized by National Geographic, including a Daily Dozen Selection and publication in the Supermoon feature. In 2012, he won 1st Place in Sony Turkey’s The Happiest Moment photography contest.
He believes photography has the power not only to document, but also to inspire curiosity, reflection, and a different way of seeing the world.
